Notes
In total, 572 stays at 58 universities were registered in the Life Sciences from 2007 to 2011. Of these 58 universities, 50 were eligible to be included in the weighted rankings. 557 of the total number of 572 stays were undertaken at these 50 institutions.
The TOP 20 German universities were calculated on the basis of the largest number of researchers hosted per 100 professors. 309 of the research stays undertaken by Humboldt Guest Researchers in the Life Sciences took place at these universities.
