Notes
In total, 505 stays at 64 universities were registered in the Engineering Sciences from 2007 to 2011. Of these 64 universities, 57 were eligible to be included in the weighted rankings. 497 of the total number of 505 stays were undertaken at these 57 institutions.
The TOP 20 German universities were calculated on the basis of the largest number of researchers hosted per 100 professors. 217 of the research stays undertaken by Humboldt Guest Researchers in the Engineering Sciences took place at these universities.
