Travel information

Transfer to /from venue

The Royal Society will arrange taxis/buses from the Milton Keynes station for the start and end of the meeting. Anyone arriving/leaving early/late will have to make their own arrangements at their own cost.

You can get a taxi easily from the station, at a cost of £16. If you pre-book (phone when 5 minutes away) on 01908 218218 it should cost you just £10.

If your taxi uses a satellite navigation system please note that you will be advised to use Hall Lane, the former access to Chicheley Hall. The correct access is via the main entrance on Chicheley Road, the next road along from Hall Lane.

To Milton Keynes from main airports

Trains run frequently from London Euston Station with the journey time just 30 minutes on the fast train. The station also has rail links to other major cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Glasgow, but delegates will need to check timetables for frequency and timing of trains. Please check national rail website journey planner http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ for further travel information, and for engineering works nearer the time. Please contact ruth.cooper(at)royalsociety.org if you have any problems with this.
