Discussion Papers of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation

In this series, the Humboldt Foundation presents the results of its own activities and its world-wide network of well over 25,000 research fellows and  award winners in over 130 countries to a wider readership. The series is an up-to-date forum for contributions from science and research politics that combines different perspectives of a country or a topic and gives impulses for foreign cultural and science policy debate.
