Fellowship for the Promotion of Japan-related Research
Submit an application if you are a German doctoral candidate with a degree from a German university and are currently conducting doctoral research on a Japan-related subject. The Fellowship for Japan-Related Research allows you to undertake a research visit to Japan.
The aim of the programme, which was established jointly by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the Humboldt Associations in Japan, is to strengthen academic cooperation between Japan and Germany. Doctoral candidates working at institutes engaged in Japan-related research can submit their applications to the Humboldt Foundation on 1 March and 1 September each year.
Sponsorship comprises a single grant of 5,000 EUR.
