Participation in Specialist Conferences in Germany

Research Fellows may apply for conference allowances to help them attend academic conferences in Germany if they play an active part in these conferences, for example by delivering lectures/posters etc.

Once all the relevant documents have been received, processing takes about a month. Retrospective approval is not possible. Travel expenses cannot be paid.

• completed application form;
• list of publications during the last five years;
• a conference programme, indicating participation fees and duration of the conference;
• confirmation of acceptance of lecture (such as posters etc.);
• details of financial contributions from third parties, if applicable.
