Nominator's project description

Professor Hamilton is internationally renowned for her pioneering longitudinal analyses of conversational interactions involving individuals with Alzheimer's disease. Her work is fundamental to a genuinely sociolinguistic approach that explores interactional influences on linguistic phenomena in both healthy aging and dementia. During her stay in Germany, she will carry out cross-linguistic examinations of identity construction in narratives and narrative fragments told by individuals with dementia.
