On 23 and 24 June 2021, international researchers will be meeting for the Humboldt Foundation’s virtual Annual Meeting. The opening with Germany’s President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will be broadcast via livestream.

In the second round of the Henriette Herz Scouting Programme, a further 23 scouts, including 10 female researchers, were chosen to recruit talented individuals for the Humboldt Network. A total of 99 applications from 47 institutions were submitted. The selections made during this round included two scouts each from Universität Hamburg, LMU Munich and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
