During a three- to four-day workshop, they form tandems to work on a journalistic product, be it an interview, multi-media reportage, radio feature or portrait. They focus on the overarching theme of the respective meeting, such as climate change, sustainability and social justice, artificial intelligence or digitisation. The participants are supported by experienced mentors and concentrate on learning from one another. What do they expect from each other? How does trust- based cooperation function? And what constitutes good science communication?
