Humboldt Kosmos wins Corporate Publishing award

The Humboldt Kosmos has been selected to receive the Silver Award of the Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP). The biannual, bilingual (German and English) magazine published by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation was selected together with five other magazines in the category Non-Profit Organisations.

All in all, 729 publications were entered in the FCP’s Best of Corporate Publishing competition. More than 160 judges reviewed the submissions during March and April: How good is the editorial quality of the publication? How does the overall concept work? Is there any cross-linking with other media? Over the course of three days, employee magazines, annual reports, videos and many other types of media were the subject of intensive review and evaluation. Following three jury meetings, a shortlist with the winners of the silver awards was released. The gold award winners in 50 categories are chosen from the 238 publications in the shortlist and will receive their awards in June. The still undisclosed gold award winners will be announced on 18 June 2015 at the Corporate Publishers’ Night in the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich.

Consistently drawing more than 600 submissions, the Best of Corporate Publishing competition is the largest of its kind in Europe. It reported a record number of submissions in 2014 when more than 700 publications participated in the competition. The Forum Corporate Publishing together with the leading industry magazines acquisa, Horizont, W&V, werbewoche and persönlich have been singling out the best corporate publications for their award since 2003.
