Newsletter 2/2015

Dear Readers,

Normally when we report on awards in this Newsletter, it is only about the ones we confer. This time however we are making an exception to this rule. Our magazine Humboldt Kosmos is to receive the Silver Award of the Forum Corporate Publishing in the category Non-Profit Organisations. The jury in what is the largest European competition of its kind assessed the contending publications based on criteria such as editorial quality and overall concept. We are very pleased that Kosmos was selected.

We additionally view the award as a complement for the fascinating research being conducted by our fellows and award winners, whom we report on in Kosmos. We are presenting several of them in this issue of our Newsletter – our Humboldt Professors who received their awards just recently.

We wish you an enjoyable read!
