This year’s Sino-German Frontiers of Science Symposium (SINOGFOS) brings together around 60 outstanding researchers from various natural science disciplines from research institutions of both countries to introduce their areas of research and work. They exchange ideas across disciplinary and methodological boundaries, build cross-disciplinary networks, and have an opportunity to work on future international collaborations.

The Sino-German symposia series is a joint undertaking of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
