Dear reader,

“If we tighten up academic networks between Germany and the world, our performance will increase, and the world will be more resilient. That’s the right way to do it, that’s what we are convinced of, that’s what we are proud of.” At the GAIN conference for international research careers in Boston, Robert Schlögl, President of the Humboldt Foundation, explained: Innovation can only be conceived and designed in wider contexts and needs the ideas of many minds. We look forward to further strengthening the Humboldt Foundation’s network through the German government’s new Global Minds Initiative.

You’ll find more on this and many other interesting topics in this newsletter.

That’s a wrap on the GAIN 2025
