Further benefits to support families

Alongside financial support and allowances, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation offers its fellows further options to support them in parenting:

Fellowship extension in line with the German Maternity Protection Act (Mutterschutzgesetz)

When a baby is born to a female fellow during the sponsorship period, the fellowship may be extended by up to three months. For details, please see the information below:

If you are a Humboldtian and would like to submit an application, please log in first. You will be given access to an online form which has been partially filled in with your personal details. You can then complete and submit this form.

Fellowship extension to support parenting
