Nominator's project description

Professor Aronson is an internationally well-known scientist in the fields of Statistical and Biological Physics. He has made pioneering contributions to nonlinear dynamics, pattern formation and granular matter. In Germany, he focuses on the role of feedback to control collective phenomena and the material properties of active matter as well as on the role of advection and flow in confined reaction-diffusion systems.
