Nominator's project description
| Professor Buzdin is a leading theoretician in the field of coexistence between magnetism and superconductivity, in particular with regard to superconductor and ferromagnet proximity effects. His works are at the origin of important breakthroughs in this domain and have helped to direct the development of these fields. Currently, Professor Buzdin develops a new direction that can be described as optically-driven superconducting electronics and spintronics. This research will be the focus of his stay in Germany. |
