Nominator's project description

Professor Danielson is an outstanding historian of literature and ideas, who has made exceptional scholarly contributions to the study of the poet John Milton and his intellectual achievements. Professor Danielson has also challenged the conceptions of both scientists and scholars in the humanities about the historical and cosmological meaning of the Copernican Revolution. During his stay in Germany he will continue his interdisciplinary study of the literary, cultural, and scientific reception of Copernicanism.
