Nominator's project description
| Professor Fasel is an international authority in computational fluid dynamics, laminar-turbulent transition, flow control and aerodynamics. He pioneered the approach for direct numerical simulations of boundary layer transition, which allows for realistic simulations of laboratory and free-flight experiments. During his stay in Germany he continues his research on hypersonic flow, flow control and in-flight measurements. |
