Nominator's project description
| Prof. Michel Géradin is a pioneer of modern Structural Dynamics and Multibody Dynamics. He developed efficient methods to compute eigenfrequencies and vibration modes that enabled the European space and aeronautic industry to develop advanced launchers and aircrafts. He also established an original finite element based theory to accurately model the dynamics of flexible multibody systems such as robots or satellite antennas. In Germany, Prof. Géradin will investigate advanced model reduction techniques and time integration paradigms to model complex high-tech systems. |
