Nominator's project description
| Maya Kiskinova is considered an outstanding scientist in the field of surface science and related fields. Her contribution on the co-adsorption of CO and K on Pt(111) presented a milestone in surface science research. In the past years she has developed an ESCA microscope beamline at the synchrotron radiation facility ELETTRA in Trieste which offers unique possibilities for many research groups. In collaboration with the Fritz-Haber-Institute in Berlin Maya Kiskinova will investigate the formation of oxygen-rich Ru phases by in situ photoelectron spectroscopy. |
