Nominator's project description

Professor Kuznetsov is renowned for his pioneering work on the theory of chemical reactions in solutions. His research is firmly based in theoretical physics in the style of the famous Russian school. His monograph on Charge Transfer in Physics, Chemistry and Biology has become the classic text on electron-transfer reactions. He is presently Prof. Schmickler¿s guest in Ulm, with whom he is working on electron transfer over long distances in systems of biological interest.
