Nominator's project description

Professor Kuznetsov is an internationally recognized authority in the areas of heat transfer and fluid flow in porous media, nanofluids and mass transport in biotissues. He has advanced theories of local thermal nonequalibrium in porous media and developed models of bi- and tri-disperse porous media. Among his contributions are pioneering works in modeling of such processes as mass transport in neural cells, vital transport and targeted drug delivery. During his stay in Germany, he will focus on mechanistic modeling of microfluidics and transport in biotissues.
