Nominator's project description
| Professor Cheryl Misak is a leading philosophical scholar and has established herself as a top contemporary voice on pragmatism today. She has shown how application of the pragmatist account of truth and justification can be fruitfully applied to politics and ethics, and has recently begun to extend the theory to the field of medicine. In Germany, she is writing a book on the Cambridge philosopher, mathematician, and economist, Frank Ramsey. |
