Nominator's project description
| Professor Miura is well known internationally for his discoveries of innovative methods in organometallic chemistry and the development of novel strategies to modify molecular scaffolds by direct C–H-bond functionalizations. His seminal contributions to Organic Synthesis also include the development of highly efficient and selective homogenous catalysts with numerous applications in both academic and industrial environments. In Germany, he intends to investigate new synthetic methods for C–H-bond functionalizations of organic molecules with the special focus on addressing sp3 carbon atoms. |
