Nominator's project description
| Professor Prodi is one of Italy’s leading experts in early modern history. His books Il sacramento del potere (1992) and Una storia della giustizia (2000), which have been translated into German, are innovative studies of the cultural impact of Christianity on European history. During his stay in Germany he intends to finish a third book Non rubare on Christianity and the market economy in the context of research on religion and modernity at the Max-Weber-Kolleg. |
