Nominator's project description

Professor Schuck is an expert in many particle theory with applications to nuclear systems, Fermi or Bose gases in traps, and problems in condensed matter. His most important contributions are new developments for Self-Consitent Random Phase Approximation and Cluster expansion. He obtained many results investigating quantum condensates in nuclear matter and he predicted a very strong renomalization of pion-pion correlation in nuclear matter.
