Nominator's project description
Professor Neves is a leading international scholar in the Sociology of Law. He is working on Constitutional Theory and on the Theory of Democracy and is well known for his concepts of trans-constitutionalism and of peripheral modernity. His thinking has largely inspired the Sociology of Law and the theory of legal regulation. During his stay in Germany, Professor Neves intends to continue the comparative sociological study of constitutions on a global level. |
