Nominator's project description

In his generation Professor Most is probably the best known authority worldwide in the study of literature as well as classical philology. His studies on Antiquity are innovative, they discuss subjects like anger and furor in Homer, cover new editions of Greek philosophers or consider methodological reflections within his field. During his stay in Germany, Prof. Most intends to focus especially on a comparative history of the origin and development of different philologies in Berlin during the 19th century.
