Nominator's project description
| Professor Kapitulnik is an international authority in the physics of conventional and unconventional superconductors and strongly correlated electron systems. He has developed many novel techniques to aid in their investigation. Professor Kapitulnik has made outstanding contributions to the understanding of high temperature superconductivity and has recently identified a new superconducting state which breaks time reversal symmetry. In Germany he plans to investigate the influence of disorder on metallic conductivity and superconducting properties. |
