Nominator's project description
| Prof. Dr. Noboru Miura has been for decades one of the very leading experts worldwide in the production of very strong magnetic fields close to and above 100 Tesla and in investigating matter in these fields. With 622 Tesla he produced the highest magnetic field in an indoor experiment worldwide. He discovered a great variety of new features of electronic excitations and of magnetic resonances in particular in nanostructured materials in very high magnetic fields. |
