Nominator's project description
| Professor Zhao is well known internationally for his outstanding research in composite materials, structural, and mechanical engineering. He has made key contributions in the field of FRP strengthened steel structures, hollow section structural steel joints as well as investigations on concrete-filled columns. During his stay in Germany, he intends to work on the strengthening of existing structures by CFRP-reinforcement and also on new bonding techniques. |
