Nominator's project description

Professor Milošević is well known internationally for his outstanding work on the theory of atoms and molecules interacting with intense laser fields. The methods he has developed, which are partly based on Feynman's path integral, have become standard tools for the investigation of ionization and recombination processes and their temporal attosecond-time-scale evolution. In Germany, he will continue to work on a unified description combining the effects of the laser field with the Coulomb field of the atomic or molecular core.
