Nominator's project description

Dr. Grigori Vajenine has made significant contributions to both theoretical and experimental solid state chemistry in the fields of metal-metal bonding, cluster chemistry, metal-rich oxides and nitrides. His future research will also exploit low-temperature routes including plasma reactions to obtain new nitrides. There are many promising aspects of material science in this wide-open field.
