Nominator's project description

Professor Geißer is one of the world's leading experts in the fields of algebraic cycles and algebraic K-theory. In his research he uses and combines methods of arithmetic geometry, algebraic topology, K-theory, and homotopy theory. Professor Geißer has made significant progress in the above areas. During his stay in Germany, he intends to continue his research, in particular on purity for de Rham-Witt complexes.
