Nominator's project description
| Professor Strikman is one of the leading experts for the question how the interactions between leptons (or hadrons) and nucleons change, when the latter are embedded in nuclei. The complex resulting picture allows important conclusions on the quark-gluon-structure of nuclei as well as on other hadrons and the photon. Professor Strikman is also one of the pioneers of the stringent theoretical description of diffractive reactions. We shall work on both very broad topics which are of fundamental importance for running, as well as for planned DESY- and CERN-experiments. |
