Nominator's project description
| Professor David Nesbitt has made seminal contributions to our current knowledge of how molecules interact with each other. He has combined ingenious laser spectroscopic experiments at the frontier of sensitivity with powerful models to unravel the intricate dynamics of prototype molecular systems. In Göttingen, Stuttgart and Heidelberg, he is going to study molecular clusters within clusters, elementary radical - molecule reactions and single molecule spectroscopy. He will also make use of his exceptional teaching skills in numerous seminars and lectures. |
