Nominator's project description
| Professor Lancaster is a leading expert in nonlinear matrix problems, in complex interval arithmetics so the theory of stability of gyroscopic systems, where he has proven several old conjectures and disproven other ones. During his stay in Darmstadt he is going to work on an analytic perturbation theory applied to gyroscopic and non conservative systems as well as with the stabilization the mechanical systems. |
