Nominator's project description
| Prof. Ramesh's work spans a broad range of metal oxide materials, with a specific focus on multicomponent perovskites. He has made numerous pioneering contributions pertaining to thin film growth by pulsed laser deposition, creation of novel device structures and their characterization. His landmark contributions in the field of ferroelectric perovskites leads to the use of which, for 30 years, remained an enigma. At MPI-Halle he will contribute to the study of size effects in ferroelectric nanostructures. |
