Nominator's project description
Professor Constable is internationally recognized for her outstanding work in geo- and paleomagnetism. She has investigated geomagnetic field properties and their implications for the underlying geodynamo process in the Earth's core on time-scales from years to millions of years. During her stay in Germany she will focus on the exploitation of global geomagnetic field reconstructions of the recent millennia, for example with regard to symmetries or zonal structures. |
