Nominator's project description

Professor Branko Mitrovic is one of the most innovative researchers on Italian Renaissance Architecture and its theoretical, scientific, and philosophic background. His work combines classical scholarship in architectural history with insights into the history of science. During his research stay in Berlin, Professor Mitrovic will explore the development of German Renaissance scholarship in the 20th century and its structure of knowledge.
