Nominator's project description
| Dr. Claude Henry has been a pioneer in bridging the gap between surface science and catalysis by doing investigations on model systems prepared by growth of small metal aggregates on well-characterized oxide single crystal surfaces. He has contributed to the opening of this field by performing a series of unique experiments including electron microscopic studies on the structure and the use of molecular beams to study reaction kinetics of these systems. |
