Nominator's project description

Professor Adler is an international authority in the interrelationship between 18th century literature, philosophy and aesthetics. His contributions to the study of enlightenment have deepened the understanding of this period and helped to reassess the profound interaction between rationalism, empiricism and anthropology. During his stay in Germany, Professor Adler intends to continue his research on anthropology and aesthetics of the enlightenment, with particular focus on the works of Johann Georg Sulzer.
