Nominator's project description
| Professor Victor Fadin has made outstanding contributions to the calculation of high energy scattering processes in Quantum Electrodynamics, in Quantum Chromodynamics and in the Electroweak Theory, using the framework of re-normalized perturbation theory. The results of his investigations are used worldwide at all high energy laboratories for the anlaysis of experimental data and for the comparison with theoretical predictions. His work is of particular interest and importance for theoretical and experimental research done at DESY and the University of Hamburg. |
