Nominator's project description
| Professor Eugenii Shustin is an internationally recognized researcher in mathematics with publications of highest quality in the fields of real and complex algebraic geometry, singularity theory, dynamical systems and control theory. A qualitative breakthrough was achieved by Professor Shustin in the study of singular algebraic curves, an object of constant interest in classical and modern algebraic geometry. The planned common research project in Kaiserslautern is devoted to the further investigation of this subject. |
