Nominator's project description
| Professor Kim is well known internationally for his outstanding research in the field of terahertz nanophotonics. He has made important contributions to the localization of terahertz waves on nanometer lengths. His work led to pioneering demonstrations of terahertz-driven phase transitions in nanomaterials. During his stay in Germany, he intends to exploit tuneable metamaterials with strong field localization developed in his group for applications in nanophotonics. |
