Nominator's project description
| Professor Entin-Wohlman is an outstanding theoretical physicist who has gained a high international reputation through her research work in solid state physics and in the physics of mesoscopic systems. Her seminal research contributions focus on five main areas: localized modes in crystal lattices, electron transport in strongly localized systems, aspects of superconductivity, magnetic properties of cuprates and electron transport in mesoscopic systems. Her Humboldt Award research cooperation will involve several of these topics. |
