Nominator's project description
| Professor Stavola is a leading international expert in the field of semiconductor-defect physics. The focus of his research has been on the physics of light-element impurities in semiconductors. While his most sustained effort has been on hydrogen in semiconductors, the common thread that extends through his career is the insightful use of spectroscopy. During his stay in Germany, his research will focus on hydrogen in oxide semiconductors. |
