Nominator's project description
| Professor Tokitoh is one of the most outstanding scientists worldwide whose research interests are concerned with the study of unsaturated species and unusually low coordination numbers, involving the elements of the carbon-, nitrogen- and oxygen-group. Using very special, extremely bulky organic groups Professor Tokitoh has succeeded in synthesizing and stabilizing highly unusual multiply bonded combinations of elements. |
