Nominator's project description
| Understanding the behaviour of complex systems is essential for modern developments in chemical engineering, biotechnology and materials sience. The research of Professor Kapral centers on nonlinear systems. His fundamental contributions into these fields have received broad international recognition. In the framework of the Humboldt Research Award, theoretical studies on chaos and noise control in chemical reactions are planned at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin. |
