Nominator's project description
| Professor Swager is an internationally renowned leader in the field of organic materials synthesis, design and applications. Based on semiconducting polymers he has developed extremely sensitive detectors for explosives and for use in agriculture and for biological applications. He is a world-renowned polymer chemist who continues to define the forefront of this field globally. During his stays in Germany, Professor Swager is developing collaborations to further explore transformational approaches to the detection of pathogens. |
